Had another fab night out last night. After a very hard (and long) day of work at the exhibition we went to the networking event at the exhibition site and then were taken out by our lovely Japanese representative Yuko to this amazing restaurant.
First up here are the photos from the exhibition networking event (otherwise known as 1000 people drinking as much free alcohol and possible in as short a time as possible!)
The main focal point of the exhibition networking event was the ceremonial opening of the sake by dignitaries from around the world…
Meanwhile the drinking, sorry I mean networking commenced…
We then met up with the lovely Yuko for a simply wonderful Japanese meal. It was on the 42nd floor of a skyscraper near our hotel. The views were almost as amazing as the food!
Here are some photos of the food. Hopefully I’ve done the food justice as it was amazing.
Pork strips:
Some sort of cheese and fish tempura (much more tasty than it sounds!)
Crab and yam:
The most amazing chicken I have ever tasted:
The freshest, most melt in your mouth asparagus with mayo and miso dip:
The chef’s busy preparing the amazing food:
