Sarah's 18th Birthday Party

I went to an 18th birthday party yesterday and took it upon myself to be the official photographer. I decided try to perfect fill-in flash with limited success. I tried my best to expose for the background but quite often I would end up blowing the sky AND over-exposing the subject. Thankfully Lightroom hides a multitude of sins and I got some half-decent shots in the end.

The party was for, deep breath, my neighbour's partner's daughter - keep up at the back - and she had a fantastic time with all of her family, friends and interlopers (me!). Anyway, here are selected highlights from the >300 shots I took of the event!
