Got some amazing news this morning from one of my past clients, and now friend, Ali. She sent me a link to a Northerner blog post on the Guardian website about Tramlines which contained one of my photos!
I was thrilled, and so happy, as I’ve never had a photo published by a major newspaper before so this was a major achievement. Admittedly the article is only a blog post so it wasn’t in the main paper but even so it is a real honour that the journalist, Emily Brinnand, chose my photo.
The photo that she chose is one of my photos of Alt-J from The Bowery on Friday night. It is probably one of the worst photos that I took during the whole weekend but I don’t care, it is published in the Guardian and that is all that matters.
