When I first tried making no-knead bread back in January I couldn't believe how amazing the recipe was. The bread looked, tasted, felt and smelt like the best artisan bread I'd ever seen. I thought that my bread maker was close to made redundant. About all I use the bread maker for now is to mix and prepare pizza dough. But last week I found a video for no-knead pizza on Youtube that will mean that I am unlikely to use the bread maker any time soon.
On Sunday I made a no-knead pizza and all I can say is "wow!" again. The base is the best I've ever made - so light, airy and crispy. Every bit as good as anything I've ever eaten in a proper pizza restaurant.
Here is the video which shows you how to make a pizza with a no-knead base. I didn't use the same topping as the video, instead I used my favourite 3 cheese and salami topping instead:
