I'd always been fascinated by what used to be The National Centre for Popular Music drum buildings in Sheffeld. These vast stainless steel drums - called HUBS - have always reminded me a bit of curling stones. The pop music centre has long since shut down and the buildings are now the Hallam Students Union.
Anyway, I had never photographed them, until Sunday when I walked past them after photographing "The Borg". I thought the moody skies deserved a moody, high contrast, black and white treatment with almost black skies. I reckon I've succeeded.

Not as happy with the treatment here - I think I've left off too much sky but at least you, my loyal readers, can get a view of the drums from another view.
